With the diversity of streams and rivers throughout the valley, a walk-in fishing adventure can be the best way to discover what North Park has to offer. Whether your interest lies in fishing the smaller tributary streams or the rugged canyon of the Upper North Platte River, our guides will share with you their intimate knowledge of these waters. We have access to nearly 50 miles of public water which hardly sees angling pressure. Everything from meandering stretches of meadow streams and high gradient alpine creeks to wide shallow riffles in the valley section of the Platte. With the amount of variety available we like to customize each and every trip to meet our clients desires.
Stillwater Float Trips North Park Anglers offers float fishing from our Boulder Boat Works Mackenzie style drift boat on various private stillwaters and the famed Delaney Butte Lakes. These nutrient rich "sagebrush" lakes are widely known for their prolific hatches of Chironomids, Callibaetis, and Damselflies. Other food sources such as crayfish, minnows, scuds, and leeches are a top menu item for the larger specimens. If your interest lies in stillwater trout fishing, Full and Half Day options are available. Our experienced guides regularly fish these waters and are familiar with the various tactics required for successful stillwater fishing. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned fisherman we can share tips and techniques that will improve your fishing success.
