The Sportsman’s Retreat

After several years of hearing about our clients’ interest in a conveniently located, family-oriented lodging option in Jackson County, we decided to address it. Being a subsidiary of Buffalo Creek, one of Colorado’s most beautiful private fishing lodges, who better create an upscale “fishing cabin.” It took some time, but we eventually found a house in Walden that was worth remodeling. With some hard work, a lot of paint, and a very creative designer, we have turned a hundred-year-old farmhouse (and reportedly a brothel at

one time, into a relaxing getaway in this small
ranching community.
Come and relax. The Sportsman’s Retreat offers you or your group all the amenities of home, with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plenty of room to unwind. Snuggle up in one of the two sitting areas and watch TV, surf the Wi-Fi, gather around the dining room table for meals or games, or prepare a feast in the full kitchen with dishes, pots, and pans.
The shaded backyard deck and propane grill provide a great place to enjoy an evening barbecue.

Convenient location in the center of Walden, guests are within easy walking distance to all the town amenities.  Why rent a cramped room when you can rent a whole house for nearly the same price?  Make the Sportsman’s Retreat your comfortable home base for all your outdoor adventures in North Park.

Pricing is $175/night for 1-2 people, with $25 per additional person, up to a maximum of 6.  Stays of 5 nights or longer receive an additional 10% discount.  A $100 cleaning surcharge will be applied for single-night stays.  Smoking and pets are strictly forbidden.
